About us

UNBOUND6D LTD is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17254951. We trade as Unbound6D.

We are the controller of the personal data covered by this policy. "We", "us" and "our" refer to UNBOUND6D LTD trading as Unbound6D.

We are an independent game studio. We create puzzle games for Android devices and release them on Google Play.

Our registered office appears on our contact page and on the public register at Companies House.

This policy describes the personal data we receive, our purposes, how long we keep it, the organisations that help us and your rights.

Apps this policy covers

For now, this policy applies to the unbound6d.link website and to letters you send us. No mobile apps are currently published under the Unbound6D name.

When we release a future app on Google Play, it will have a separate policy published on unbound6d.link, at an address under /privacy/ that carries the game's name.

That app policy will name the app and its exact package name, reflect its Google Play Data Safety answers, identify every SDK in the released build and list all Android permissions the build asks for.

We will link each app policy from this page once the game is released.

Information we collect

No account or personal details are needed to use unbound6d.link. The website has no forms, logins, mailing lists, comments or checkout.

Our hosting provider processes standard technical data on our behalf whenever a page is requested: your IP address, the requested page, the time, your browser and device type and the referring page if your browser shares it.

We do not use analytics, advertising technology, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or session replay on the website.

Writing to us gives us your name, your return address and whatever your letter contains, along with any email address or phone number you include so that we can reply.

Please do not include payment details, passwords, identity documents or health information in letters. If you do, we will return or securely destroy them.

We do not obtain personal data about you from third parties through this website.

Google Play Data Safety answers describe what an app collects. This policy covers no app, so it lists no Data Safety categories. Each app policy will list its own and explain what remains on the device and what is sent off it.

How we use information

We use technical data to deliver the website, protect it, prevent abuse and fix problems.

We use letters to respond to you, handle any follow-up, keep a record of the correspondence and deal with requests about your personal data.

We rely on our legitimate interests in running a safe website for Unbound6D and replying to correspondence. Having balanced those interests against yours, we consider the processing modest and expected.

Where we must keep records under company or tax law, we rely on legal obligation. If something ever requires your consent, we will ask for it clearly and separately.

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising or make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

Third-party services and SDKs

The website contains no third-party SDKs, analytics scripts, external fonts, embedded media or social widgets.

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website and processes technical request data as our processor. Its privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Letters travel through postal services that operate under their own terms.

We may share information with professional advisers, such as accountants and solicitors, where we need their help, and with public authorities when the law requires.

SDKs in a future app will be named, with links to their providers' privacy information, in that app's own policy.

Data retention and deletion

Cloudflare keeps request logs for a short time under its own retention rules, and we do not copy them.

We keep letters and our replies for 18 months after the matter ends and then destroy the paper and any digital copy.

Correspondence that forms part of statutory company records is kept for as long as UK law requires, usually six years from the end of the financial year concerned.

Where information is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, we keep it only for as long as that need lasts.

You can ask us to delete your letters earlier. We will do so unless the law requires us to keep them, and we will explain if that is the case.

Children

The website is for a general audience and is not designed for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children on the website or by post.

If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent us personal information, they can contact us and we will delete it.

Each future app policy will state the age group the game targets and how it meets the requirements for that group.

Permissions

The website requests no device permissions.

Visiting unbound6d.link never asks for camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, sensor or notification access, and its pages run no scripts.

Once we release an Android app, its policy will list every permission found in the inspected build and describe what each is for.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you can request access to the personal data we hold about you and a copy of it.

You can also request correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests and, where it applies, portability of data you provided.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Send requests by post to the address on our contact page. We reply within one month, which can be extended by two months for complex requests; we will tell you within the first month if we need the extra time.

We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Requests are normally free.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would be grateful for the chance to resolve your concern first.

International transfers

Unbound6D is run from the United Kingdom, and letters are stored in the United Kingdom.

Cloudflare runs a global network, so technical request data may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States.

These transfers are protected by Cloudflare's data processing terms, which include the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, or by another safeguard accepted under UK law.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy when the website changes, before we release each game and when the law changes.

The effective date and version number at the top of this page show the current edition.

If a change significantly affects how we use personal data, we will set it out clearly here.
